Carter Book on Palestine

Jimmy Carter's recent book Palestine: Peace not Apartheid is, by and large, a recounting of facts. He walks through the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict, and details the conditions in Palestine today. Among the very few establishment politicians to take a stand against the Israeli occupation, Carter has of course been vilified by mainstream voices. Here is an article which explains some of the mood on the ground.

The bulk of Carter's book explains crucial events in Palestine during the last 40 or so years. And it is bookended by a pair of chapters which distill his argument down nicely. The next time you are in a bookstore, read through the first and last chapters; I have a feeling you will be compelled to purchase a copy. We also have a copy here for loan, if anyone is interested in checking it out.

If you go here: (http://zionism-israel.com/israel_news/2006/12/carters-palestine-israel-book-its-even.html) you can see the zionist machine at work. Each refutation of the facts is replete with errors. I wish I had time to break each one down. But the main thing is that zionism accepts a priori Israel's right to seize the land(and the ensuing concentration camps and mass murders). All their logic flows from that, the egregious first crime.
