What Is That?
While driving to work we pass the Meadowlands. For the past 6+ months there has been a lot of construction happening there. The biggest new structure that is taking shape appears to be some sort of artificial ski mountain or possibly an alien communication device. If anyone can properly identify what this thing is for, you will get a bonus point. Have a look here and here.

I think that is incorrect.
The entire area is already surrounded by parking garages under construction (which you can partly see in the two photos linked above), and this thing towers another 8 to 10 stories above them all . In addition, it has an abnormally steep upward curve, which is much too steep for a car to climb comfortably. The angle of this structure is somewhere between a regular parking garage slope and a full on ski jump.
I know what it is.. It's Xanadu... it's like a huge amusement park. That huge, tall thing thing they're building is gonna be an indoor skiing hill/mountain... and there also adding a NJ Transit train station.
