The Bordentown Bulldogs (60lb division) improved their record to an unprecedented 3-0 today after defeating the Moorestown Jr. Quakers 13-6 in a game sometimes marked by imprecise play from both sides. The visiting Bulldogs had difficulty moving the ball on offense late in the game and allowed the Quaker defense into the backfield repeatedly. The Quakers had several offensive miscues (one which led to a turnover) and had no answer for the powerhouse Bulldog offense.
Noah Jackson scored two touchdowns for Bordentown, both after long breakaway runs. The Bulldogs offense moved the ball fairly well all day, with big rushes by Brandon Christian and Jack Parker in the first half. The Bulldogs offensive line, led by Ethan Csenteri and Ryan Hinkle, opened up huge holes in the Quaker defense.
The Bordentown defense was solid, only giving up one touchdown after a long 4th quarter Quaker drive. The Bulldogs defensive line stopped the Quaker halfback during the point after attempt.
The Quaker offense often relied on a direct-snap to their fullback, which gave them a big edge coming off the ball. This play had the Bulldogs back on their heels early in the first quarter, until a jarring tackle by Andrew Lebak forced a turnover. Later in the game, the Quakers went one too many times to the direct-snap play, and a fumbled snap was recovered on an alert play by the Bulldogs' DJ Parks.

Great write up, but we must emphasize that the 60lb's are undefeated and the first to go 3-0. Go bulldogs! 125's are also 3-0, but they won after us:)
